It's Amateur Hour!! (even in the professional category)

So alot more people know what we all already know, Phredo makes a mean stew. Our resident chef / cooking savant took on a handful of other "Pros" in the Annual Irish Stew Cook-Off and came out on top. Below is the write up from Phil Bowdren, President, AOH division 51:

"The 2009 Hibernian Hunger Project’s Great Irish Stew Cook-Off was held last Thursday night at Finnigan’s Wake. From a field of three professional chefs and five amateur chefs, the chefs from Fishtown once again came to the fore. Chef Phedro Martin, representing Kevin O’Donnell’s Starboard Side Tavern, won First Place in the professional category, and Joe Kerrigan, representing AOH Division 87 and Kerrigan’s Florists, won First Place in the amateur category. "
